Then And Now! Art progress since 2012 : Deu

Sooo yeah another thing i did over my vacation, is this little gem ;3;
I decided to come back to a character  havent really drawn since, like 2013...ok that's not exacly the case, i did some sketches i never liked or finnished of this guy but nothing really serious in art form of this dude...and it's not even  an inactive character, he's a big part of one of my original stories i keep on the backburner forever and i even RPd with him since then so...yeah not even sure why the heck i abandoned the poor guy X'D

But oh man was is satisfying to draw him again and do a comparasement of these super old drawing, cringe a little at something i was super proud of back then and be able to say to myself "wow, i worked hard and look how well it payed off!

But my little dose of pride aside...Deu went through some design changes just now. I fixed his strange anatomy to make more sense (im finally able to draw his legs properly after all these years, UFCK YEAH PROGRESS IN ART!!!) did some reworks on his outfit and so on and so forth...im pretty fond of this design overall, i was  since i made him, but only now i can make him look just as i wanted after all these years...thanks years of training in art to finally allowing me to put this abomination from my head onto paper ;u;/


also fun fact: Deu is a character that came to me in a dream after watching the movie "Splice" (terrible movie, but man, that monster design is something im kinda fascinated with 030). I then decided to put the dude on paper and turn him into a character in one of my stories...i will publish a Bio of him soon, im kinda lazy with writing down his story and personality...


so for now just enjoy the design progress, from an anatomically incorrect attempt by 17 Y/O Fish to immitate Dren to a decent looking horned...god...thing? The heck do i describe him as, i don't know to this day ;3;
